Support for Ukranian Students

Use the Google translator app in the top right corner of the website to translate webpage content.  However, PDF documents will not be translated.

Wiltshire Council have launched their new support page for young people arriving from Ukraine – Support for young people arriving from Ukraine – Work Wiltshire. The page has a lot of information – The support available for post 16 (Careers Advice, Building Bridges and Young Wiltshire EET team). To access this support the young person (or an adult, with young person consent) will need to complete a referral form to access up to 2 of the services to support them into Education, Employment or Training whilst living in the UK.

The page also includes valuable descriptions of post 16 education options, transport, higher education, community support, and resources/equipment. Please utilise these pages if you are supporting a family.

Wiltshire College will be running a Summer School for 16 – 18 year old Ukrainian learners between 20th June and 14th July, this will be 13 hours per week over 4 weeks. If a young person would like to book an assessment to be able to join the Summer School please email Tom.Evans@wiltshire.ac.uk these will take place on the following except during half term week of 30th May:

  • Trowbridge Campus – Mondays 3pm – 5pm
  • Chippenham Campus – Wednesdays 1pm – 3pm
  • Salisbury Campus – Thursdays 12:30pm – 2:30pm
