Visit us by car
Vehicle access to St John’s is via Granham Hill (Pewsey Road/A345). Please note that some Sat Nav systems will direct you via the A346/Orchard Road, but there is no vehicle access this way.
GPS Co-ordinates of the entrance are: 51°24’36.1″N 1°44’06.9″W (51.410028 – 1.735250).
Parking
Parking at St John’s is always at a premium. Open Evenings are particularly pressured. Parking is only available in the marked bays in the Long and the Circular car parks. Disabled parking is extremely limited and available by contacting the school in advance where a space can then be reserved. There is no overspill parking on the waste ground – parking there risks being caught in soft mud or damaging your vehicle and there is no parking behind the school buildings. If possible, please share lifts with other families coming to the same event, stagger your timing or park in the public car park on George Lane. St John’s is a 5 minute walk up the hill from this car park.
If you require disabled parking, please contact us ahead of time on 01672 516156.
Pedestrian Access
Pedestrian access to the Academy is via the public footpath from George Lane/Duck’s Meadow, turn right at the top of the hill and follow Orchard Road through the tennis courts and into St John’s. Visitors should report to main reception.
CCTV at St John’s Marlborough
We have a number of CCTV cameras around the school. For a copy of our CCTV Notice, please see our Academy Policies page.
