Be Kind to your Mind Competition Winners

St John’s has announced the winning entries in its Mental Health and wellbeing competition.

In July, working under lockdown, St John’s launched a poster competition for the school’s “Be Kind to your Mind” campaign. Students were challenged to design an A4 poster that could be displayed around school, promoting the help and advice offered at St John’s to support students’ mental health and wellbeing.

The competition was judged by Principal Mr Ian Tucker earlier this month. The designs were thoughtful, and a lot of hard work was put in to the posters. After much deliberation, Mr Tucker awarded first prize to Imogen Grainger , Year 8, Second prize Daniel Neshev, Year 8 and joint third prize to Erin & Lois, Year 8.

Prizes were awarded to the winners and the posters will be reproduced for display around the school.

The St John’s website includes a wide range of resources, links and downloads to support both students and parents. The resources are available here https://www.stjohns.excalibur.org.uk/life-at-st-johns/mental-health/

Winner, Imogen Grainger, Year 8
