Students asked to write an essay for the QueenKaren Reed
‘The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Writing Competition’ is a well-respected global competition, usually with an awards ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Students are asked write about some of the important issues which our planet is facing at present. They are encouraged to be as creative as they like with their writing – it doesn’t have to be an essay in the traditional sense. It could be a poem, a short story, a speech, a letter… etc.
