Over 200 Year 13 students from St John’s have received their A level and BTEC results this morning. Staff at St John’s are very proud of what they have achieved, especially after a disrupted educational journey in their last three years of school.
In the face of a challenging national picture, students from St John’s are preparing to head off to their university, apprenticeship or work placement of choice and have very strong foundations to build on.
Principal, Ian Tucker said: “We are exceptionally proud of all the students at St John’s who have received their results today. They have shown great resilience and determination in their studies, and this should be a day to celebrate and plan the next step on their journey. All of us at St John’s and Excalibur Academies Trust wish them success in their futures. As always on days like this, we want our students to know that if they need any help with their decisions, then we are here to support them.”
St John’s students are well set for their next phase and everyone hopes they will enjoy their celebrations today.
Three students, Timon Piercy, Joe Bunyan and Adam Nardoni are currently working in Gunjur, a village in Gambia with a group of 20 St John’s students on a three-week visit, and received their results at a distance!
