Students collect GCSE Results at St Johns

Students queued early at St John’s this morning to collect their GCSE and BTEC results, before making their choices for life after Year 11.

Principal, Ian Tucker, said “We are very proud of each and every student at St John’s – they have shown great resilience and the dedicated staff here would like to congratulate them all. There are many success stories, and I am delighted that their hard work paid off. We wish them every success for their futures and our staff here, who have been with them all every step of the way, will support them all as they move on. On a day with such mixed emotions, it is very important that anyone with concerns or anxieties talks to us so that we can help them. As I step away as Principal from St John’s and hand over to Alan Henderson, I would like to thank all the staff students and their parents and carers for supporting the Year 11 students so well.”
