If you would like somebody else to collect your results, you must complete the Authorisation to Collect Results form.

Receiving Results – Year 11

The school will be open from 9am for the collection of GCSE and other level 2 exam results and for enrolling in St. John’s Sixth Form on:

  • Thursday 20th August 2026

We do not issue results by email or phone. We will post results on 20th August if we are provided with a stamped addressed envelope. Otherwise results will be posted second class on Friday 21st August. We will post them to the last known address on our system so if you have moved house since Year 7 please ensure we have the correct address for you.

We issue exam results to students: please use the authorisation to collect results form above if you would like someone to collect your results for you. We will not issue exam results to parents without this authorisation.

Students will sign up for St John’s Sixth Form after collecting their results in the theatre from 09:15am.

Receiving Results – Year 13

  • Thursday 13th August 2026

We do not issue results by email or phone. We will post results on 13th August if we are provided with a stamped addressed envelope. Otherwise results will be posted second class on Friday 14th August. We will post them to the last known address on our system so if you have moved house since Year 7 please ensure we have the correct address for you.

Certificates

You must have your official exam certificates to prove your grades to employers, colleges or universities in the future. These certificates will not be received by the school until late in the autumn term.

If you are returning to St John’s to study in the Sixth Form you will be given your certificates in person. Otherwise, we will post your certificates to your last known address by February 2027. If you have moved house since Year 7 please ensure we have the correct address for you. We will only retain uncollected certificates for 12 months before they are destroyed.
