Appeals

You have a right of appeal against any of your grades if you believe there has been an error.
You can appeal before you get your grade if you think we have not followed our processes correctly.
You can read full guidance in the document for Year 11 or Year 13 students.
If you would like to submit an appeal, you must use the Student request form for centre reviews and appeals. This is an editable pdf. You must return the completed form as a pdf to our dedicated appeals email address:
Summer2021Appeals@stjohns.excalibur.org.uk
Appeals must be submitted by students, not parents, but we do expect parents to support appeals.

Contact our Exams Officer, Mrs Light if you need more information.

Autumn 2021 Exam series

There will be an exam series this autumn. If you are unhappy with your GCSE or A-level grade you can choose to sit exams in October (A-level) or November (GCSE). These are full exams, run by the exam boards, which you would be expected to sit at St. John’s. There is no fee for taking these exams.

If you are considering taking these exams you might need to make an entry before you receive the results of an appeal. We will not be able to provide tutoring support for students taking these exams, but we are happy to advise on the benefits of taking an exam.

Entry requests must be made using the forms below, submitted by the deadlines:
