St John’s Students Display Their Musical Talent
Spring Concert
Thank you to everyone who attended the Spring Concert that took place on Thursday 27th March, with students from Years 7-13 performing. There were performances from Orchestra, Jazz Band, Choir, Brass and String Ensembles, student-led groups and solo performances. The concert showcased our talented students who all demonstrated excellent musicianship and teamwork.
Swindon Rotary Young Musician Competition
On Saturday 22nd March students from St John’s took part performing in the Swindon Rotary Young Musician Competition. Dia Vasylchuk Yr11 on Saxophone, Zara Mcrae Yr0 on Piano and Elizabeth Pope Yr9 on Piano took part in the competition.
Zara Mcrae came 2nd place in the senior competition and Elizabeth Pope won first place in the junior competition. Congratulations!
