St John’s Heading to Finals of First Tech Challenge

This week, a team from St John’s took part in the regional finals of the First Tech Challenge.  The challenge requires teams to design and build robots, which are set tasks and problem solving exercises to complete.

Teams are judged on the design and build of the robot, robot coding, robot drive, it’s ability to solve problems, plus a team presentation, portfolio and fundraising.

We are pleased to announce that the St John’s team won the Control Award and came runners up in the Inspire Award.  As such, they will be heading to the finals in London on the 26th June.
