YEAR 12 FUTURES WEEK A HUGE SUCCESS

Year 12 had an actioned pack Futures Week!

Students attended workshops on Personal Statements, CV Writing and Writing Development with renowned Author Jon Stock.

All students attended a Careers Carousel which included sessions on Degree Apprenticeships, Careers in Finance by local company Miller James, and Alumni talks.

Subjects added an extra career element to their lessons, and students were able to attend a wide variety of talks including:

• Making the most of Open Days and HE Fairs by Oxford Brookes University
• Economics in Practice Talk by the Bank of England
• Job application hints and tips
• Using LinkedIn
• Routes into the Armed Forces by MPCT Military Academy

Thank you to Marlborough College who once again invited our students to their Higher Education and Gap Year Fair.

Students then rounded off the week with 2 days of Work Shadowing.

A huge thank you to all the companies who either came into school or hosted our Year 12 students this week.
