Wellbeing & Careers Curriculum

Welcome

Aims: Student wellbeing is a priority at St Johns and our specialist teachers deliver a carefully planned programme of lessons. Wellbeing covers three main themes: Health & Wellbeing, Relationships and Living in the Wider World (careers advice). Independence, the resilience to meet life’s challenges, a positive attitude,  good character and a growth mindset are key to success in life.  Our comprehensive Wellbeing curriculum contributes to all of these. See our Policies page for a link to our Relationships & Sex Education Policy.

The Careers curriculum includes careers education and guidance as well as specific year group events.  Our comprehensive careers programme aims to enhance employability through a variety of opportunities including valuable contact experiences with employers and organisations.
