Aims: The St John’s English curriculum aims to empower students to use, understand and explore language to express themselves and make sense of the world around them. We aim to equip students with a solid foundation of knowledge and lifelong skills in reading, writing and oracy. In doing so we hope to foster a love of reading and inspire students to adopt a critical eye towards any texts they may experience.
